The Silent Night,
Skies sinking –
Stars weeping
Pain and suffering just seeping
There's deep sleeping
Even with bombs dropping
Guns ringing
With the dying man's singing
All around there's screaming
The screams, a thunderous applause
In the senate halls
It's reverberating off the walls
There's still silence
In the world alone
Never to go home
Deaf when lone
The Silent Night
Moon shining
Stars sighing
Children crying
Eyes now dull
This dark space has taken its toll
Never to reach the goal
As the explosions roll
Lying here dying
No crying
Even with bombs dropping
Guns ringing
There's only one thing
The Silent Night
Skies sinking –
Stars weeping
Pain and suffering just seeping
There's deep sleeping
Even with bombs dropping
Guns ringing
With the dying man's singing
All around there's screaming
The screams, a thunderous applause
In the senate halls
It's reverberating off the walls
There's still silence
In the world alone
Never to go home
Deaf when lone
The Silent Night

Children crying
Eyes now dull
This dark space has taken its toll
Never to reach the goal
As the explosions roll
Lying here dying
No crying
Even with bombs dropping
Guns ringing
There's only one thing
The Silent Night
