Help. As I stand in a dark, emtpy room, looking through the window. Pain. As I sit in confusion wishing somewhere, I find the strength to step outside & feel okay again. Hope.

I read "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" and it inspired me to write about how a character might feel.
