Music Possesses Magic

April 16, 2010
Lyrical literature
That strike each nuance of the drum
Makeshift emotions
Entice the electricity in my cerebrum
Captured moments
In golden frames
Brilliant succession of sounds
Representing both joy and pains
Possesses a certain liveliness
That speak one-to-one with
Your ears and your ears only
Each song, not unlike an ally,
has always shown me
Music is more than one can “hear”
Because my dear,
music strikes a wistful chord
An unbreakable sword of sorts
Undeniably the best emotional vent
A magic that all musicians and poets covet
Lyrical literature
That strike each nuance of my pounding heart
When in fact, without music, I can and will fall apart
Do you possess the power I see in music’s grace?
If not, within the seams of my heart,
Time is a-ticking for you to set your place
