Knowledge is limited; but imagination encircles the world.

Stepping off the bus
into a sea of concrete
I stop for a moment
only to realize how
good my life was going.

And at that moment,
I had entered a new
world. A world where
less can sometimes be
what I consider more.

I enjoyed simpler things
such as a sandwich, a
walk in the park, and
my favorite, a nice cold
glass of water.

Oh how loved to drink
refreshing water. But
as my lips were on the
verge of touching the
cup, I heard a strange,
sound.

Was it a conversation?
Music? Perhaps it was
the beeping car to my left.
I think I should get out
of the way.

I wrote this in the 7th grade which was about two years ago. It was inspired to me by Mr.Ramirez, coolest teacher ever.
