Fallen Star
Anyone or anything can fall
But it takes a fallen star to realise just how vulnerable we are
Because if a star falls, everyone wants to know
If you fall, or if I fall, no-one cares.
But sometimes it takes that fallen star to realise just how lucky we are not to glow so bright.
Because if we glowed as bright as the stars, our fall would be a lot harder.
A star which has faded and fallen, doesn’t attract the same attention.
But a star which has just started glowing and fallen, attracts more.
A parallel universe, a mystical galaxy, a milky way that people are either desperate to cross, or want nothing to do with.
Oh how the divide between the starry sky and the common earth is so wide.
That divide between humankind and Hollywood.
