Your Light;s my Faith
Like a lighthouse –
 Its light shines far
 And bright,
 Leading boats
 Back to shore,
 When the dark creeps upon the night.

 When a storm rushes through;
 Monstrous waves and rain clash;
 Thunder, fright the ears;
 Lightening burst with flash;
 Yet, you still stand without fears.

 The nights we’re miles apart,
 I sit; I stare by the frame,
 And I place my hands
 On the cold, window’s pane –
 And remember your claim.

 I discovered a new emotion,
 To have such alluring faith,
 Towards my devotion.

 It’s a long ways to see you,
 But whenever we are far apart,
 Remember in your heart:
 It’s your faith – I can still see.
