Food chain

Sometimes I think that
I am on the bottom of the food chain
That if I give up
Only a little, the monsters of life
Will come and eat me
Not without some doubt
Do I put my ideas on the line
For the world to see
Waiting for a something or a someone
To tear them apart
But it’s not just them
Who are standing out in the open space
Logic and reason
Are standing strong behind my ideas
Making them solid
Maybe moving up
On this forever food chain of life a
Possibility
That I can and will achieve with my mind
A goal to the end
