Slow Down

Would you stop spinning for just a minute?
You're making me dizzy.
It's hard to live with you spinning this fast,
Hard to live when time zips past.
It's hard to keep up.
So stop spinning for just a minute,
A minute is all I need,
Just a minute to catch my breath.
Spare a minute for peace.
A little peace ought to do everyone good.
On the other hand...
If you stop suddenly, we'll all have a
Headache from your spinning.
And that's not good.
So don't stop.
But maybe just slow down.
Rest a bit,
And maybe you'll not want to spin again,
And we can all get some peace.
