Love Struck
As you walk down the hall, you see the love of your life, you are love struck.
Her smile is like a fire that burns through the empty night.
Although sometimes when you talk, you begin to fight.
Deep down inside, you know it will be alright.
Cause’ she must have a mutual feeling towards you.
When you know it’s true, you begin to smile.
She smiles back, and you feel as if you ran a mile.
So you let it sink in, make your time worth while.
And then you find out that it was all a lie.
As you walk down the hall, you feel like you see her all the time.
When you think about her, you feel like she’s a dime.
But really, she is just committing you to a crime.
In the end, you feel like there’s nothing left to do.
Don’t give up though, you’ll get other great chances.
If you eventually decide to move to Kansas,
You will regret it, so allow your heart to be free while it still prances.
