Tear me apart.
Just another butterfly.
Pinned down by her wings.
Or is it by my heart?
Label and classify me.
Ignore me.
My screams.
My cries.
My hurt.
All I want is a chance.
To fly.
To dream.
To love.
Mistake my screams for songs.
The caged canary never sings.
Is the butterfly any different?
Silent cries.
Pleading eyes.
Insigificant to the bigger picture.
Should I try to speak?
Would you listen?
Would it matter?
Would you let me go?
Kill me.
Hold me down.
Trap me here.
Caged butterfly.
