Th warm summer air
blows its cool breeze in my hair
I sit under the blue skies
as I slowly, leisurely, close my eyes
Far, blurry images appear
closer and closer, they become clear
It's a day like today
The earth soaked with the sun's golden ray
It's you and me
like it should be
we both smile
but this isn't for awhile
There's a sudden chill
I feel an emptiness that I can't seem to fill
Why did it become like this?
Leaving for me to just lay here and reminisce
