Blurry Eyes

The warmth of the smile,
The life in those eyes,
The tears of joy running down
That beautiful, colored face,
The times we spent
With each other, swimming,
At the movies, and such,
All Faded when she started to
Disappear
The warmth of her smile
Started to get gloom.
The life in her eyes
Started to end too soon.
The tears of joy
Turned to tears of
Sadness running down
Her now, so pale face.
The times we spent with each other
Weren’t in a happy place.
When she got sick, she
Started to disappear and
Fade out of my
Blurry Eyes.
