You’re addicted to the pain
Of a lost one
You can’t seem to let go,
Your heart is racing
Your pulse is going insane
Your thinking you can’t make it out alive
You’re wishing of not existing
To avoid the most feared,
Avoid the most sadness,
And avoid the most pain.
You’re addicted to the pain
You pick up the staggering knife
You point it to the vein of your wrist
You let it touch
You face the edge to the skin
And slice the scared wrist.
You’re addicted to the pain
You let the red dropping of grief fall to the
White tile and stain
You watch as it turns into a bloody river
Full of grief
You watch till your heart stops racing
You watch as you pulse settles down.
You watch till there is no more addiction
Till there is no more blood to bleed
Till there is no more grief to cry out...
You’re pain addiction has laid
Its case to rest….
You are now that lost one…
