Glass shatters
Along with broken trust
Breaking into thousands of pieces
Scattered
Left alone in the darkness
Surrounded by the pouncing lies
Of betrayal
Fear not, but one can only wander
What its like to live
In a world with trust
Without the constant struggle
Of recognizing liars
From just plain traitors
We live in a society of lies
Where trust is a flickering light
That’s just vanished in sheer darkness
