A Hope

A flicker of light
Dances across the walls
A trickle of water
Clings from the spout
That last bit of hope is wandering
Being held onto relentlessly
Every last whisper
And every last thought
Are what fuel the determination
And keep hope alive
Shutting all the rest out
All the doubt and confusion
All the disfaith and dread
Putting it all aside
And charging the mountain ahead!
