He Was Thinking of Me
The day that I met you
Was like some kind of dream
Because the moment I looked in your eyes
Nothing was what it had seemed.
Everything I had known before
Suddenly seemed to have changed
All the walls I had built up around my heart
Seemed to have been built in vain
I felt no need to run or hide
Because I suddenly felt perfectly safe
As if I was in a completely new world
And it was the most perfect and wonderful place
A place where I felt loved and adored
By a friend whose love was honest and true
A place where I wasn’t afraid
To just let my true self shine through
But now I’m left in wonder
Of how all this came to be
But I guess the only answer
Is that God created you when he was thinking of me
