A star in the afternoon sky
Shining despite the laws of nature
Ignorance is bliss
Perhaps, perhaps not
Could you know the facts
And just choose to ignore them?
Or better yet, challenge them?

What we know is not

Even science has its flaws
And there is no such thing as
“reliable”
By it’s dictionary definition
Able to be trusted


Life is only human
As is nature
You can expect from it what you want
But nothing is guaranteed
It will make promises
And it will break promises
It can be misleading
It has its mood swings
That affects us all
Like one’s moodiness
May affect their friends

Perhaps it is impossible
I’m only human, right?
Nothing significant
Sets us apart
I am not supernatural in anyway
I just question the unquestionable
And don’t take the truth for granted
Somehow, every no is a maybe
Every maybe lingering towards a yes
