I stand alone
I am one
As you got many
I got none.
No one else to rely on
Just my bags and I,
With no one to console me
As I weep and sigh.
Oh, how I’ve waited
And longed for the day
When all of my troubles
Are taken away.
I don’t got nobody
Tuckin’ me in,
I got nothin’ to lose
And nothin’ to win.
