im (not) fine
Your lips I once kissed,
 But now I shall not
 Ever again.
I can still taste your lips against mine,
 Sweet and innocent
I can still feel them hesitant and careful.

 Now,
 I do not regret
Like with the others my lips have touched,
Now I look back to last summer.

 One warm summer night
When the sun had long fallen,
 But the moon still invisible
 You asked me to dance
To the songs of the crickets.
 We swayed softly
In the light of the stars

 But
 In the cold
 Harsh
 Heartless
 Winter,
 You vanished from my heart
 Frozen from heartbreak
 Numb from any ache

 But I did not regret
 Anything
 Not my lips to yours
Not any of the words I spoke into your ear late at night
Or in the blazing hot days

 I do not regret anything
 of that summer
