My friend is always telling me that I’ll find my
Happily ever after
When I hear her say that
I really want to ask her
If she’s read my diary
All those stories would make
Anyone’s eyes go fiery
Stories of rejection, want
Trust, hurt, and disbelief
Making me spend most of my time
Writing my feelings on loose-leaf
Stuck on words forever
Waiting for my
Happily ever never
