Until The End

Why do you weep with such a heavy heart
When the bell strikes the final midnight?
Why do you sing songs that aren’t deep enough
To match your soul that is just so light?
Why do you dance like no one’s watching
Your every single little step?
Why do you wish to be someone else
When you are someone with so much pep?
Why do you always have some excuse
To never even try to call me?
Why do you always have to be furious
Like some over-defensive bee?
Why do you ignore what I feel some days
And then treat me like a queen the next?
Why do you tell me you love me
Over an emotionless little text?
Why do I even really care anymore
After you pull the wool over my eyes?
Why do you think I’ve stuck around for so long?
Because we’re friends until the world dies.

The author's comments:
I write the best when there's an emotion in my heart that can't be explained. Love is not the emotion I feel and neither is regret, for those two usually go hand in hand with me (XP). But I wrote this feeling an odd sense of euphoria, getting this off my chest.
So here's my poem:
Until the End.

Hahaha. This feeling is familiar for people, I guess. XP
