April
Rushes in with a devious smile
It likes to play tricks every once in a while
Beautiful weather it appears to be
The sun on your face, the birds ion the trees
When suddenly with great disdain
You notice it’s started to rain
Only a slight drizzle at first
As if out of nowhere a lightning bolt bursts
It laughs with contempt, a thunderous rumble
To the nearest shelter you find yourself stumble
It suddenly stops as if to mock
You stare in surprise, your eyes in shock
It leaves as quickly as it came
Soon everything looks just the same
A rainbow smile stains the sky
Its last mischievous reply
