A Broken Heart

I let him carve himself into my core
he left deep gashes and bloody cuts unable to heal
they delicately wrap around my loathsome body
I let his strong hands break me into two
he destroyed my angelic figure
I crumbled in his abandonment
nothing can put me back together
I let the memories drain into my veins and burn into my red surface
forever woven into my disheveled shape
I rest now, broken into my design
my pulse is unsteady, unable to recover
