Whisper
His voice whispers
It’s easy
He tells me that
No one will know
He says
I love you, so
It doesn’t matter
How far we go tonight.
The empty house echoes with yes, yes
I’ve never been so alone
My heart pounds, I’m at a cliff side
From jumping, I’m
so
close.
But my voice whispers
It matters
I tell him to stop
right
now
A silver ring glints on my finger
And to the wind of his whisper, I
won’t
bow.
