¿Dónde Estoy? MAG
Perched on my chair, in the Spanish room,
I began to listen in.
¿Cómo te llamo? ¿Cómo estás?
Says my newfound Spanish friend.
My llama? I have no such pet.
And what about spaghetti?
I don't think I can pass this class.
I don't think that I'm ready.
Our teacher walks to the front of the room.
She's cómica y bonita,
Intellegente, loca, divertida y pequeña.
She comes at me with a libro and opens it in my face.
And begins to fill me with the wonder
Found within this place.
Of all the worlds I've ever seen,
This one is a mystery.
The colors, sounds and smells surround me.
I'd love to experience this breathtaking country.
My whole world is suddenly
Filled with possibilities.
Por favor, maestra, querida ¿podemos ir a otros países?
