Is This Our Happily Ever After?

How could this have happened?
You come along one day,
sweep me off my feet,
and we live happily ever after?
No. There must be some sort of catch.
A wretched curse
or an evil stepmother.
If you really are my Prince Charming,
should you at least have to
battle a few dragons to save me?
This all came by so easily.
Will there really be a fairytale ending
to this love story?
Or are you a poison apple
I was tricked into eating?
Do we ride off into the distance
or get lost in this Enchanted Forest?
Not even my Fairy Godmother
can help me now.
