for two years ive held onto your memories,
hoping that one day, you’d make the time.
for two years, sleepless nights, and hunger pains
ached my troubled mind.
for two years i learned about your life and wished to be a part of it.
for two years ive held on,
but as for now im done.
take the memories you forget
and i’ll forget the rest.
