"I am the Polish Viking"

Burnt honey like salt water drowning me,

Drawing me to a new world close to the surface

Where sweet breath returns I will feel at home,

When burnt honey left fingerprints riddled on a cracked mirror,

Made from burnt sand,

Lightning struck and chilled by a passing breeze.

A lovely passing thought will remind me of burnt honey,

Smoldering in the blinding summer sun,

Leaving angry red and hot smooth sand

To be soothed by roaring chilled water,

Liquid and cool as lovely burnt honey.
