Friend
He smokes the grass.
She’s on the pill.
He lost everything.
She gave up her will.
They were once just like me.
Now their innocence is stripped.
They are left all alone,
With their hearts clearly ripped.
They have been shunned as outcasts,
Never to be let back in.
With the paths they have chosen,
They will never win.
I look at them and see,
The ones that I called friend.
But it only takes one ime,
For the magic to end.
