The Brightest Flower

So I am here and you are not

so I was weak and you were stong

so I am broke and you are fine

I guess not all of us can read betweem the lines.

The trees thicken and winter turns to spring

Still my love remains and im out in the rain

So I hold on

when you let go

Deep down I knew our love wouldnt grow

Like a flower we were alive

Locked into eachother, thought we would survive

Beautiful,vibrant and at peace

Poised and brillant we believed

As winter came our flower died

Our love was no more alive

When I looked you werent there

It wasn't a feeling I wanted to share

You had already left

But taken a part of me with you
and I'll never get it back

The seasons changed and more springs past

But I never found another flower that shined so bright

Our love dried up like a puddle

Like the wind we blew away

I will never forget that spring to this day

The memories are in my head

Still I wish I had you instead

I have just been going through a lot in my life in these past months. Heartbreak was the worst though. You never know how much you can depend and love a person, until they let you go. The hardest thing is being on your own and trying to cope.

This is a really good poem that talks to my heart and my sadness but also makes love seem so precious
