These Tears
These tears fall down my face.
Like shattered glass fallen from a broken mirror into a million pieces, pieces that are impossible to be put back together. These tears stain my skin with sadness and burn like acid right into my heart. Inside my chest, a cold draft flows through my heart as if the feeling that used to be inside my soul has been ripped out. I gave my heart away a long time ago, and never got it back. I cannot replace the happiness that I once used to feel. I cannot grasp onto the fact that I am lost. I'm in so deep, it seems impossible to get out. I cannot let go of the desirable memories that were cherished in our lives. Your face will not leave my mind. I'm not quite ready to say goodbye. These tears fall down my face.
