Don't do what you want, do what you don't want. Do the things that scare you most.

You didn't let go
but somehow the pavement is glistening beneath my tires, the trees are blending together, my heart is racing, the wind is blowing the hair beneath my helmet.
You didn't let go, but somehow I'm racing along this patchrork side walk. I look back and realize you were never holding on, because you weren't there.

I wanted to write something that would mean something to me and maybe other people could relate to. My "Daddy" wasn't there so I had to do things on my own, I didn't get to be a Daddy's girl. In the end I found that I could ride the bike alone, I didn't need anyone but my mommy, the rest of my family, and the amazing friends I have.
