Raise your flags
Build your city walls
Walk in and out of shopping malls
I’ll keep true to my mountains tall
And stay out of here
I’m just a boy of ideals,
I’ll live off the woods for my meals,
The streams put me at ease
That’s all I need
City life has never appealed to me,
I’d rather walk among the trees,
Where the unforgiving
Keep me on my heels
And when winter comes
I’ll seek shelter or sun
And eventually become one
With the ground that birthed me.
