Untitled
My road to heaven is paved with gold
i sing the blues and play guitar 'cause i have an old soul
Green,Black, and red
i seen my brothers' and sisters' lie in a bloodied bed
hung from the earth's beautiful brown creation
left me with a grim reminded of how much things really have changed
and why things will always remain the same
i wasn't there but i seem to remember the master's whip
the sting of the leather against my back and hips
i was born with not a silver spoon but a golden spear in my hands
first they took our mind then stole our land
Africa is where the beautiful and proud roam
Africa is My home
Africa is Our home
Africa is Home
and just like the streets of africa my road to heaven is paved with gold
don't you know?
