Panther sits there on the floor, Honey's walking around

staring at the door.
"HI!GRANDPA!"
"Hello,Nana. how was your day?"
those words was all it took to get them out of there all day bore.
ears up, tails wagging,
scratches on the floor.
"HI MY BABIES!" all that's said, while opening the door.

petting

licking

playing,
this is how it starts, and this is how it ends.

G good-byes,
looking into two pairs of eyes, one tan and one brown, is enough to make me cry.
" I'll see you thursday" i say to the two.
they look at me, Honeys tail stops wagging and Panther jumps from me.
both sit down
sadness fills their eyes.
as i open the door they try to follow,
and i laugh a sad laugh.
bars seperate them from me,
and their sad eyes is all i see on my way home.
