White to Green

March 22, 2010
By Anonymous

The world will slowly change from being as white as clouds
To a blooming green
The snow will disappear and melt away
The grass would start growing
The sounds of sniffling noses and itchy eyes will linger in the air
So enough with all this white!
I want to wake up with the sounds of chirping birds
Not to the sounds of joy from students who have snow days
So as the white turns to green
We go from buying salt to seeds
Sweatpants to shorts
With the amazing feeling of no school and summer in the air
So don’t be shy and hurry your way over here
As we can make our way from white to green.
