My season is now over
The year has been bad
When I fail I get back up and wipe away the past
Then I get back on the ice and skate my last shift
When I’m back on the ice I feel the adrenaline
I hit a kid and take the puck
Aiming for the goal
I take the shot and hit the net
another goal for us
The roar of the crowd and cheer of the team
It’s all a bonus with all the noise
Because the feeling is stronger than ever
Hockey is a sport all of us should play
