A Deep Hole

This is a deep hole
This is a prison
My limp body lays in the dark
We cannot survive here
No food
No water
No chance
No say
Nothing
Disease fills the air
There is no hope, no life
We are all lost and confused
Souls in one place at one time
God does not want this
Too many deaths
Too many beatings
Is there no mercy?
What have we done to deserve such cruelty?
I’ve stopped believing
Man was not meant to be like this
No turning back it’s too late to say sorry
This is a prison
This is a deep hole
