Heavy clouds upon my eyelids
Pushing down, filling my head
Their gentle weight tells me
To let the darkness prevail
And rest my drowsy soul
Upon my bed
Soft under the solidity of my worn body
A blanketed embrace
Of warmth and comfort
A simple luxury
A surrender to the force of slumber
Heavy clouds fill my eyes
And I can dream
