You criticize
You judge
Yet, You love

You love "someone"
You wish for "her"
You defend "her"
You help "her"
Yet, You like

You like me
You wish for me
You defend me
You help me
Could I be her?

I ask you
You deny it,
He asks you,
You affirm it
She asks you,
You allow it

You approach me
You take my hand
You lean in
You whisper in my ear
"I love you:

I tilt my chin up
Looking into your eyes
I can now see
You let your wall down
I can see, I am her

I lean in
I take your hair
In my hands
I gently press
My lips upon yours.

It's amazing what love can do to a person. This poem does a great job at portraying a lot of feelings
