I am floating,
Floating in a sea of confusion,
In a sea of memory,
Memory long, long forgotten.
In happiness of past lives,
And in sadness of the present.
Now I am being pulled down,
Down by the monster of my sorrow,
A monster I had thought of,
Now a monster that will kill me.
Now the sea has turned into darkness,
A darkness of my nightmares,
Of what I fear to happen each and waking day,
Now coming to life,
I am captured in the life here,
In the life I created out of fear.
