Tonight, what makes this one special?

To others, it is just another night of sleep,

To me, tonight might just change my life.

Tonight I will tell her how I feel,

Tonight I will give my heart to her.

Tonight might be the blooming of love,

Or the sourness of rejection.

Tonight she and I might be together,

Two halves of a whole.

Or it will be the night where she breaks my heart.

Together, or separated.,

I do not know yet how she feels

I hope she feels the same for me,

Yet in the back of my head I know it isn't true

Im not the one for her

Tonight might be the night that changes my life

Or just another night of sleeplessness.

Like all others.
