A Little Stitch
A little stitch here and there,
You make it look like you don't care,
But if you look close you'll see,
Every stitch is made perfectly,
You use only the finest thread,
To remake the bodies of the dead,
You form the bones so gracefully,
But you look so carefree,
How perfect you make every detail,
From the color of the hair to the length of every nail,
The light blue eyes to the alabaster skin,
As you work you start to grin,
You don't even notice the tear rolling down my face,
I'm not sad in any way,
I'm just mesmerized by your grace,
But in the back of my mind a question remains,
Why did you bring me back to this place?
