Summer is great
Because you can stay out late.
But then the morning
Is quite forlorning.
Because you are tired
I guess it backfired.
And the skies are fair
In the hot summer air,
And when you walk out the door
You wish there was more
Time to play
Before the end of the day.
So you try to make it last,
But it runs out fast.
And eventually it's all part of the past.
