Snow in April
Students woke up one April morning to find,
A blanket of new-fallen snow covering the ground.
They sprang out of bed and turned on the TV,
To find that all classes were cancelled that day.
Coats, gloves, and hats were thrown on,
As children raced outside to join in the fun.
Their hearts pounded and laughter rang through the air.
And they played until the snow melted and their vacation was done,
As they headed back to school, that next April morning.
