Abusive husband
This man I once loved broke my heart countless times
With each and every fight his fury began to climb.
He beat me to the ground and I couldn’t put up a fight.
The outcome was my eyes swollen through the night.
Gradually the beatings had gotten worse
The wedding turned from a blessing to a curse.
Years upon years of abuse drove me mad
It left me one option the only one that I had.
I wanted him to suffer for all the suffering I endured.
He came home and it was dark I hit him hard to make a mark.
He was unconscious while I tied him to the table
I cut off each of his limbs making him disabled.
I did not use anything to stop the bleeding
I stood there pale white while he was pleading.
Finally his voice became muffled and he took his last breath
It’s not a shame he died of a violent death
