In my fist- I hold my heart,
Fingers clenched so tight,
Worries of it being torn apart,
My hopes for it are bright,
A heart so kind; a heart so pure,
You are all it longs for,
So tell me- tell me true,
Is there anyone I can trust with it but you?
Of the ones I let inside,
You were among the few,
My feelings I did try to hide,
But you were the one who really knew,
Knew that these feelings- someday I'd have to let them show,
All these days I knew,
Knew one day I'd give it to you,
So here's my heart,
Please take great care,
Attached is a note saying please don't tear.
