The thing I’ll regret
The rest of my life I’m sure
Was not saying what
I said to you everyday since
I was able to speak
But who knew not saying
Three little words
Could affect a person so
But then realizing
That I wanted to say those
Same three little words
To someone new and knowing
That it would change
Everything in my life and in
Their life but
Not having the guts to say
Those words out loud
To that person because of the
Memory embedded
Into my head of not saying that
Important phrase
To the most important person
In my life and
Also of the fear of what the other
Will say to those
Words I said to them aloud
