“True friends stab you in the front.”

Something's wrong with me.

Can someone please help me.

My world I once knew
Oh, so well
Has crumbled under my feet.

I realize now,
all my pain is
From down under.

Once again the needle
hits my bear skin.
I just can't seem to stop.

Just one more night
I whisper to myself.

In the night I realize
All the things I've gone through are
From down under

The man I once knew and loved
had lied to me about the
other girl

In my life,
Everything with my brokeness is
From down under.

The author's comments:
This poem was written when I felt like I had lost all control over everything in my life. This tells some of the basics that I've gone through over the course of the past three to eight months.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all of this....I hope that it all works out and that you become a stronger person because of it all! Very well written and moving poem.

Wow! This is so good! Your writing has a sort of rhythm to it, especially the first two stanzas. Five stars, and I really do hope it got better for you. :)

Wow. That's so sad! Just wondering exactly: what do you mean about "It's all from down under"? This is so heart-breaking! I like how you wrote this!
