I perch on the cold metal chair
As it concludes its journey
To the top of the mountain
That I will soon be gliding down
My anticipation grows
As I finally reach the top
Lightly place myself on the snow
Excited, I start down
My joy and freedom
As I rush through
Is not wavered
By the sting of falling snow and wind
My heart beats quickly
As I effortlessly slide down
Then I make to the end
And prepare myself to go again
